Refund Pay-In-4 for not completed purchases

I wanted to buy an iPad from my college's website and used pay-in-4. I have NOT completed the purchase but have pressed "pay now" not knowing it would automatically deduct from my credit. My silly mistake was pressing that button 3 times and now I have 3 pending authorizations, $180 each. I wanted to file for a dispute in for those transactions under "Report a problem" but shows "We're sorry, you can't file a case on this type of transaction." Please, I really need a refund on those initial payments.

I understand your concern about the Pay in 4 payment and I know this situation can be frustrating. When making a purchase with Pay in 4, if you pay with a debit card, we will place a pre-authorization hold on your chosen payment method for an amount equal to the initial payment or one-third of your total purchase amount. This will show as a pending authorization in your PayPal account activity and also in the bank account of the card linked to your PayPal account. Once you complete your purchase with Pay in 4 and the merchant completes your order, the pending authorization will be removed and the initial payment will be withdrawn from your payment method.
If you do not complete your Pay in 4 transaction, the pending authorization will be automatically voided by PayPal within 72 hours of the pre-authorization hold. Although PayPal has released the hold on your funds, this may take up to 5 business days to process through your bank. You won't be able to report the pending charges. If you still see the completed charges on your account, you can report it through the Resolution Center. If you need any help, you may contact the team by clicking the "Contact us" option at the bottom of PayPal page. Support is also available through Facebook by sending PM, Twitter and Instagram on DM.
