Scammed by Tickets-Center, Ticket Fulfillment and Pay Pal

I was essentially highjacked from a concert venue by Tickets-Center. I requested a ticket and was immediately charged via PayPal by Ticket Fulfillment for the ticket. I was charged $242 for what I later learned was a ticket with a maximum charge of $89. Tickets-Center did not even have the ticket and won't deliver one until the day before the concert. The Better Business bureau knows about this scam and you can be sure PayPal does also. As is their practice PayPal is happy to support scams.

Its a resale site so its bound to cost more than the actual venue site cost, buyer beware.

I am here to share my recent experience with this vendor and the response from Paypal. After several disputes on this transaction, Paypal closed my case "in favor of the seller" because I missed the window to "escalate my case" by a couple of hours. I have used Paypal for many, many years without problem. I no longer will use this service as they continue to do business with noncredible agencies. My incident:

Intended purchase of concert tickets. Thought I was purchasing directly through the event venue. Received an email from "Tickets-Center.com" with urgent messages stating I had to immediately accept tickets through link. Clicked link and my iPhone was hacked/compromised. Immediately started to get hot and all strange things happened to screen. Could not navigate the phone. It was moving around independently popping up weird apps and messages and I had zero navigation control. Bill processed through PayPal and payment to "Ticket Fulfillment Services LP". Purchase was a scam. Received another email from a fake Ticketmaster account with another link to "transfer" tickets. Nothing in my actual Ticketmaster account. Lots of scams reported on vendor online, including the BBB with 100s of cases filed against vendor. Of course, I thought I was booking directly through venue site, but no way I could have done my due diligence searching for Ticket Fulfillment Services LP considering I first saw this name after purchased through my PayPal app.

I had the same problem with the same fraudulent ticket "merchant." I never got my tickets. Paypal immediately resolved the case in favor of the seller, stating that it was not a protected purchase. I can't believe Paypal continues to allow payments to go through to this scam company.

Thank you for sharing your experience.  I hope that PayPal will give due attention to yours and all of our cases and act swiftly to disassociate with "Ticket Fulfillment".  They are sheisters and should be shut down immediately.

THIS IS A SCAM, TICKET-CENTER ONLINE TICKET BROKER HIDING BEHIND A CLICK THROUGH POLICY. LIKE NUMEROUS OTHERS, I GOT SCAMMED BY THINKING I WAS BUYING DIRECT FROM A THEATER BOX OFFICE. NOT UNTIL I RECEIVED THE ACTUAL EMAIL DID I REALIZE IT WAS A SECOND USER (SCALPER) SITE. THEY ARE PROUD OF THEIR ADVERTISING ABILITY TO “BAIT” CONSUMERS. THEY GO ABOVE AND BEYOND REASONABLE BROKER FEES, WHICH MADE ME LOOK UP LAWS IN MY STATE. THEY APPEAR TO BE BREAKING THEM- ITS A MISDEMEANOR . THEY IMPERSONATE BOX OFFICES, HIDE IN SMALL PRINT THAT GOES AWAY WHEN THE PAGE FULLY OPENS TO LOOK FOR SEATS (GOT HIDDEN ON THE TOP PAGE OF MY IPAD) AND SHOWS A FALSE “SELLING OUT FAST” TIMER. I WAS CHARGED OVER 3X FACE VALUE. IN FLORIDA LEGALLY - CAN SELL FOR $1.00 OVER FACE VALUE. IMMEDIATELY AFTER I SAW THIS RIP OFF, I DEMANDED A REFUND TO NO AVAIL. I AM ESCALATING THIS FIASCO, AS I SEE MANY HAVE BEEN RIPPED OFF BY THESE PEOPLE AND THEY MUST BE STOPPED. PREDATORY ILLEGAL BEHAVIOR. IF THE CONSUMER PAUSES AT ANY POINT DURING THE TICKET PURCHASING PROCESS, A POP UP SCREEN COMES UP STATING “TICKETS ARE SELLING FAST! WE EXPECT A SELL OUT. CONTINUE YOUR ORDER… MAKES IT VERY PRESSURED TO LITERALLY READ ALL OF THE T & C’s that ACCOMPANY A SIMPLE TICKET PURCHASE. EVEN AIRLINES GIVE A LEEWAY IF YOU CALL WITHIN 15 MIN OF BUYING A TICKET. IN MY CASE I FULLY BELIEVE THEY EITHER SENT COUNTERFEIT SEATS (AS THE EXACT SEATS WERE STILL ON THE TICKETMASTER SITE FOR PURCHASE AT FACE VALUE) OR THEY ARE ON HOLD THERE - I AM TRYING TO DECIDE ON NEXT STEPS.

FROM ALL OF THE COMPLAINTS, AND THE 1.2 RATING, HOW ARE THEY STILL ALLOWED TO BE SCALPING? I ASKED WHO THEIR CEO IS AND WHERE THEY OPERATED OUT OF, AND THEY REFUSED TO ANSWER? NOT VERY REPUTABLE IF THE CEO IS NOT PROUD OF HIS COMPANY.

A quick review of any site on trust-pilot will show you what type of a site they are with their mega-poor reviews.

Any site with a timer to hurry you to purchase is always suspect, I would have hit the back button, buyer beware.

Yes!  I had a similar experience with them.  I also hadn't realized that I was purchasing a ticket from a third-party agency (scalper).  The price quoted me was outrageous but I was unfamiliar with this sports event and thought it possible that tickets might be so high.  I also thought it was perhaps my last-minute buying that drove the price up.  Agreeing to the price resentfully, I saw that the email with the ticket link was in my email, however, it didn't disclose the final price, nor did the order confirmation page.  It wasn't until I opened my bank account online that I saw that a 40% processing fee was added.  How this is legal, how PayPal can endorse and support them, I have no idea!  Shame on Ticket Fulfillment!  I truly hope that PayPal will step up, do the right thing and cut all ties with this criminal company.
