Seller protection

Is seller protection a total scam? No matter what evidence I provide it doesn’t seem to be enough. I’ve provided timelines of order received, entering of tracking details, post office receipt which include time of postage, tracking info and delivery receipt. It looks like the buyer who has made of habit of claiming non delivery from multiple companies will get a refund. It just seems unfair and very discouraging for small businesses. I don’t think I’ll use PayPal to receive payments considering a percentage is taken for each transaction while providing no protection.

If the package is already at the post office awaiting to be claimed, will the buyer win the dispute if she files under PACKAGE NOT RECEIVED?

I also have been abused and scammed out of a lot of money like this from a $1,000 dollar transaction from a sale I made for custom cut specialty wood I made, I sent 10 packages through PayPal shipping and my customer got everything for free and I got scammed and it said I was eligible for seller protection and was lied to by PayPal. It seems they like siding with the buyer no matter what information you provide them with , I shipped everything through PayPal shipping! What more confirmation can one provide?!?! This is a scam and a fraud protection should be what PayPal should cal it because they sure provide the scammers with protection and allow us honest people to be taken advantage of , after 6 years of me being a PayPal user and always being responsible this is how I get thanked and I’m sick and tired of it

Did you send the item to a different address from the buyer's PayPal address?

THE CORRECT ADDRESS WAS USED, I shipped all packages to the correct address , 10 total packages. 5 the first shipment which was delivered successfully and 5 the second shipment which my customer only got 2 of them and refused delivery on the other 3, he knew that I was sending the high end stuff he ordered first and the cheaper wood on the last , so he got 7 out of 10 packages but all 10 was shipped to his address and he refused delivery on the last 3 so he could scam me and put a false case against me , I even used PayPal shipping and gave him free shipping and I was still scammed out of $1,000 dollars

I never thought this kind of complain is real until i became a victim of PayPal’s BS seller protection. I talked with an AGENT and to summarize everything, INDEED.. THERE IS NONE!!!! 😞

They provide no protection at all. It's complete and utter BS. The buyer sent a 4 word sentence saying they never received concert tickets from me. I provided a dozen screen shots showing the conversation & the email confirmation showing they received the tickets and Paypal still sided with her for whatever reason. I bring it up to them and they tell me the case it closed and there is nothing they can do. Now they are sending a collection agency after me. This is completely wrong and Illegal. Lets get the BBB or Law enforcement involved. Paypal is a crooked company they deserves to go out of business this is garbage.

You need to actually read up on seller protection to see what they do and do not cover.

In the event of an item not received dispute you would have to prove delivery and paypal do not accept screen shots or 'conversations', you would have to prove delivery as per the seller protection policy.
