Unknown Pp*code

I have had a £1 charge on my bank statement with a Pp*(4 figure)code. I have no idea what it is. I have not recently asked for a card to be linked. I am worried that someone has access to my account. Is there anyway I can check what the payment is for?

Welcome to the PayPal Community Forum! I'm sorry to hear you've received an unexpected code on your bank statement. I can understand how concerning that must be. It may possibly be our security system asking to confirm your card that may have been previously linked to your account. However, I would still recommend reaching out to our Customer Support or Resolution Center to report any unauthorized activity or transactions.
