We attempted to transfer your salary, but due to a large amount in your bank account, we requested that you are required to pay an FDIC fee (50 USD) to have your earnings of 1,500.00 USD reflect on your account. Please resend a transfer request to your PayPal details for clear confirmation before making the wire transfer to your account. Do well to make your deposit (50 USD) as soon as possible for the clearance of the process so the amount can be reflected. Thank you for your service and cooperation. I'm very confused, it's my first time asking a payment to paypal so I need to ask if this is a fact.

SCAM

You never pay any upfront fee as a seller or to receive payments into a Paypal account.

Ignore scammers that send fake Paypal emails telling you that you need to pay an upfront fee to verify/upgrade to a business account/or any other reason to accept a payment.

You would certainly never have to send funds especially via another payment processor/bitcoins/ or tokens/vouchers of any sort.

Any fee is auto deducted by Paypal at the same instant the remainder of the payment is credited to your Paypal account balance.

No funds in your balance = you have not yet been paid, even pending/held payments will still show in your Paypal account activity.

Thank you very much, you have cleared my doubts. I thought it was a scam from the begging but I got confused as soon as the FDIC was mention because I've never heard of it and all the information I came across didn't make sense to me. Again, thank you. Now I understand how it works.
