why won't paypal let me cancel my account OR talk to a person?

 I want to cancel my account, they won't let me, and won't tell me why. To top it off the new beta "assistant" doesn't let you even ask for an actual person to talk to... Calling them is useless as well... Has paypal fully turned into a scam site?

Why can't you close the account? Does it have any limitations and if so are they temporary or have you been told its a permanent limitation?

 They say there is a limitation but not what that limitation even is... Regardless I should be able to close the account.

You can't close a limited account, you would have to resolve any limitation first in the resolution centre.

That is unless you have been told its a permanent limitation in which case you can never close it.
