I had the worse experience with a designer from India. Does paypal protect me from this?
I had them design me a site. The site had other site's content on it in the form of images, etc.
They did not every complete any part that I asked for. They only did what they wanted. I asked them many things but was ignored most of the time.
When I started the project with them they got an email from me with information on what I want. They asked for this. Nothing that I requested was placed into this site. NOTHING AT ALL!
They went in and installed the files after I asked them for a refund. They are now telling paypal that I have files and I cannot get a refund. Then asking for protection and how to stay safe in future. They are trying to win paypal over. Also, after files were installed they informed me that they are done with the project after not even asking me if I approve.
Will I be protected? I am nervous on the outcome.
I hope for positive replies. I have learned my lesson here. Reputable companies ONLY!
