Hello,
Just yesterday I posted an expensive item I sold on e-bay, I posted special delivery with Royal Mail and uploaded the tracking info for customer. The address is PayPal verified. I went to track the item today and the status is that the item is being redirected. I have e-mailed the buyer who seems to be unaware of why it has been redirected, as I understand a redirection service is a paid for service through Royal Mail by the former addressee to a temporary address. As the buyer seems to have no knowledge of this I am rather concerned and don't know what my options are from here?
I have read there is a clause on PayPal that seller protection is void in case of redirected mail, even though I have proof item was sent and sent to a supposedly verified address. Can I contact Royal Mail and ask for the package to be redirected back to myself? Anybody had a similar situation or know where I stand here? Any advice would be much appreciated thanks.
