I'm seeing an increase in abandend carts on my website. I'm investigating this and found that when people go though the checkout process they have a long delay when they submit their order. It seems to be taking 5-10 second before the paypal payment page opens. Not only that but while waiting they just see a blank white page.
I'm looking to see if Paypal can do something to speed the connection up, or if you think I could do something, or if either of us could place an alternative to the blank white page - perhaps a message "please wait while we connect".
