I received payment for an item on 16th July , sent item same day and was received the next day signed for buyer happy , payment was saying pending available 24th July however this has now changed to 6th August ?. Is there any reason for this , PayPal has already taken their fee so why should I have to wait 3 weeks to get my money . Have asked PayPal customer services but not had an answer.

If it was ebay then >>

New seller hold that every new seller goes through.

If you have uploaded tracking number then you should get the funds released 3 days post delivery.

This is a nonsense response on your part...the link you give just takes me to the same old same old patronising explanation from Paypal.

I have searched high and low and all paypal mentions is how to get payment via a secure delivery method.

The buyer picked up the item from my house.  He has it in his hands...yet i am still supposed to wait three weeks to receive paymjent.  That is total rubbish by paypal and is an early negative in my dealing with them.

Is anyone on site prepared to answer how one gets one's money when the buyer has the item...or is paypal just going to hide behind more ludicrous links?

I wasn't giving YOU anything, i was answering the person that started the thread.

And perhaps if you actually READ THE LINK you would be able to understand that no seller in their right minds accepts paypal for items that are collected.

Try reading YOUR thread that i replied to.

Rather than slating a company and blaming them for problems you brought upon yourself, trying reading up on ebay and paypal BEFORE you start selling.

From ebay pages >>

What are the guidelines?

  • Bank-to-bank transfers (also known as bank wire transfers and bank cash transfers)
