i recently purchased a product on eBay, paid for the it through paypal the seller then got in touch with me and told me iv paid  her into the wrong account she refunded me the money and gave me another email address to send it to which i did. She is now claiming that she had not received the money but on my side it has completed. This as been going on now for about a week and half i emailed the seller several times to ask her to get in touch with paypal it wasn't until i said i was taking it further that she responded and told me that she had spoken to paypal and told her that i had to undo the dispute (as i opened a dispute) for the payment to go through is this correct or is she telling me a load of lies. Really beginning to think she is not a genuine seller.

Sounds as if she is trying to scam you.

If you have opened a dispute you should NEVER close it until you have a cleared refund OR your item.

She can refund you with the dispute open but if you close it you won't be able to open another one.

I think you should escalate the dispute to a claim when you get that option and then its up to paypal. If she does not provide paypal with a tracking number that proves delivery of your item to your address then you should get your refund.
