Funds removed from bank account for pending transaction, can I cancel when the website won't let me?

Hello!

I recently found out to my dismay that my bank account was overdrawn nearly 200 dollars for a transaction that is pending until Nov 6 that I had already paid. I tried to cancel this transaction, but Pay Pal is apparently unable to cancel this account. Is there a way to contact their customer service to get a refund or cancellation of this transaction and the money put back in my account?

Hi MDeVillar,

You cannot cancel a bank transfer once it has been initiated. If the seller refunds your payment, the cleared funds will be credited to your PayPal account balance. You can then withdraw to your bank account.

You guys should REALLY add a feature that allows you to cancel self-bank to self-paypal transfers, my bills come out of my bank account and I can't just sit around and wait for PayPal to process my transfer so that I can transfer it right back where it came... Thank you PayPal, for making my money virtually useless for days...

That wouldn't work even if they added it - all you would have is a cancel request chasing the payment through the system.

It wouldn't catch up.

If it takes more than a moderate number of milliseconds, then yes it CAN catch up.
