Recurring Payments being auto Cancelled by Paypal even though money available

Paypal keep cancelling my recurring payments

 

it tells me that the sellers of the products (for example webserver) have cancelled it

 

When I speak to them they say they did no such thing and to contact paypal

 

I email paypal, and get no response

 

it happens again at another hosting service

 

So I look around for alternative contact but the forum is all I can find...

 

Why does this keep happening?

 

Please can my auto payments be reactivated.

Hi Davidian, 

 

As this is a community forum I am unable to view your PayPal account however we happy to offer general advice. 

 

It sounds like your recurring payments may be cancelling automatically. When you have a recurring payment it is generally linked to a specific credit/debit card. If this has been removed or has expired then your recurring payments may cancel. If this is the case then I would recommend that you log on to your PayPal account and update the funding options to ensure they go through successfully on next request. 

 

To do this 

  1. Go to www.paypal.co.uk and log in to your account.
  2. Click 'Profile' near the top of the page.
  3. Select 'My money'.
  4. In the 'My pre-approved payments' section, click 'Update'.
  5. Select the merchant whose agreement you want to change under 'Merchants'.
  6. Click 'Change' under 'Funding Source'.
  7. Select an alternate payment method and click 'Save'.

I tried to call paypal about this same issue and sat on the waiting queue for far too long before giving up I can tell you now that i have the same issue and my account shows no record of the payment cancelled or otherwise anywhere. I use recurring paymenta for my giffgaff SIM card and i recived a text from them telling me that i requested a payment cancellation. My card has not expired Money is available

Mee too. My customers are experiencing immediate cancellation even though the card on file expires on year 2024. When they subscribe to me, the subscription profile is created then later on immediately cancelled. Neither of us initiated the cancellation. Can you please enlighten on this? Thank you.
