If you’re selling something with PayPal, your buyer can pay you with Venmo into your PayPal account. And the money may be subject to hold unless you’re an established seller.

“PayPal merchants will have an expanded consumer audience in the US as customers can now use their Venmo accounts to make purchases during a mobile PayPal checkout.”

Venmo users can’t send money from Venmo account to PayPal account p2p by email address like PayPal users can send to PayPal users. They’re separate services in that respect.
