How do I cancel automatic payment to Facebook? I go to settings, payments and manage automatic payments. I choose Facebook and click to cancel automatic payments. It says automatic payment has been cancelled. The problem is if I return to automatic payments and choose Facebook its still there and active. How do I fix this?

Thanks for joining the Community!

I understand that you wish to cancel your billing agreement/ automatic payment. In this case, you can contact the merchant to cancel the billing agreement. Also, you can refer to the link to cancel billing agreement on your PayPal account.

I hope this helps!

If you read my post at all you would see that I already tried what was described in that link. Thats why I was making a post about this. And contacting Facebook is an exercise in futility. I expect to be able to decide myself who can automatically charge me money through paypal, which is why I thought this had to be a bug or something. Are you saying merchants can force payments with paypal that I can do nothing about?
