How Long for Funds From International to come in and do i receive any emails during the process?

Paypal payments are more or less instant but allow a couple of hours.

You will get an email telling you that you have received those funds.

I haven’t received my funds from someone and they said it would take 3-5 days to come. It’s been 9 hours

Sure its not a scam because paypal payments never take 3-5 days unless its an echeque but then it would still show on your paypal balance with a clearance date, so is it showing?

It is a visa debit card, not local and i have been debited.

You can't add a local bank account / debit card in your country.
You can only link a visa credit card.

Also the option to receive paypal payments is sadly not available in Nigeria.
You can only send payments for purchases funded by your (confirmed) credit card.

Paypal varies a lot country to country and can only offer the services that the banks / governments of that country allow it to offer.
There are quite a few countries unable to receive paypal payments.
