How can you split charges between funding sources?

I have a bunch of gift cards that I added to PayPal, but if my transaction is more than the balance it just rolls the whole transaction to another source. As a result, I have a bunch of gift cards with partial balances that I can’t use. (I tossed the physical cards once they were added to PayPal so that i wouldn’t have to keep track of them IRL.)
is there any way to get Paypal to use those scraps first or is there a way to fund the wallet from a gift card?

Only if you see the “Split” toggle button during checkout:
Otherwise, you can only do split payments with PayPal balance and a card, by selecting your PayPal as the main funding source and it’ll ask you to select a card for the rest.
Kudos & Solved are greatly appreciated. 🙂
