If you are the sender, you’ll have to contact the recipient to request a refund. Click the transaction to get their contact info.
If you don’t receive a refund, and you paid as goods and services, open a dispute with PayPal within the timeframe noted in the transaction details. Here’s how to file a dispute:
- Go to the Resolution Center.
- Click Report a Problem.
- Select the transaction you want to dispute, and then click Continue.
- Read the information on the screen and click Begin.
- Follow the instructions to finish opening your dispute.
Note: You can't open a dispute for payments sent as "Family and Friends" because the Purchase Protection program doesn't apply to F&F payments. And the unauthorized activity option to dispute is only applicable if someone broke into your account to send the payment.
If you are the recipient, click the transaction and then click “Refund this payment”.
Kudos & Solved are greatly appreciated. 🙂
