Hello everyone, i’m from Vietnam. I need your help When add a bank to withdraw money. I select the correct bank with correct Swift code. But i use my “bank ATM card number” instead of “bank account number” (my mistake). I already clicked withdraw money to my mistyped bank account and it’s been 5 days. Will my money be returned back to Paypal ? Do I have to contact my bank for this problem ? Thank you

I do understand your concern about the withdrawal! A "Complete" status means we’ve successfully processed your withdrawal request. A withdrawal or transfer to a bank account typically completes in 1 business day, but it can take up to 5 days depending on your bank’s clearing process. If the bank is unable to process your request due to incomplete or incorrect information in your withdrawal request, the funds will be returned to your PayPal account and it may take up to one week for your bank to notify and send the money back to your PayPal balance. I would suggest you to wait till the time frame.
To prevent failed withdrawals from happening in the future, try removing your bank account details and re-adding the information. You can use a recent bank statement to confirm that the information you are adding is correct. If the money is not reversed after the time frame, please reach out to our team through the available contact options at the bottom of PayPal page and you can also message us through Facebook or Twitter pages for additional assistance.

Good Day!
I just wanted to ask if your funds have already been refunded to your Paypal Balance? or reflected in your bank? I'm asking because I have the same issue. I've used the ATM Card Number instead of my bank account number. I've transferred from Paypal to my Bank Account last April 27, 2023 it's show completed in Paypal and not reflected in my Bank. I've also reached out to my local bank and they said there is no floating transaction on their end.
