Linked bank account and card no longer working and error when fixing it

Hello!
For 3 years i have had my bank account and card linked to paypal and made direct payments (subscriptions, uber, etc) without paypal funds without any issues. Now, despite still having everything connected and no issues being reported directly (and money in my bank), the payments are not getting through. When I try to troubleshoot, the platform gives an error message. Can anyone help me?
I'm based in Portugal and I have a Portuguese bank account.

Welcome to the PayPal Community! I'm sorry to hear you've run into some road-blocks making a payment. There may be a few different reasons as to why certain payments are declined, but the most common reasons are listed here: Why was my payment declined?
I'd recommend starting there, and then reaching out to our Customer Support if needed.
