Missing payment from UpWork

Hello guys,


I have transfered my balance from UpWork to PayPal, but I didn’t get the confirmation email from PayPal and the balance is still 0. But I have confirmation from UW that money has been sent.

Went to check my transaction history on Upwork, transaction is done. I have updated my tax information on Uw, withdrew funds over a year now, never had problem until now. I’m 99% sure the problem isn’t within the Upwork platform itself, but on PayPal side. I’ve waited over 24 hours just to be sure (everytime it happened instantly in the past)

Tried contacting the PP support, no luck there, still waiting for an answer.

 

Anyone had the same problem? How can I fix this?

I understand your concern about your payment from Upwork not reflecting in your PayPal account. When a payment is initiated to your PayPal account, you will always receive an email notification with the payment details. As you mentioned about not receiving any email confirmation, I would suggest you to recheck if the email address in both accounts are same. To receive payments, you need to confirm the email address and verify your PayPal account.  If the information matches in both PayPal and Upwork accounts and everything is up to date, I would recommend you to contact Upwork support directly to get this checked further. For any additional assistance, you can also reach out to our team through the available contact options at the bottom of PayPal page. Support is also available through Facebook/Twitter pages.
