Mistakenly sent as a product/service instead of family/friend and not my payment is on hold

I received a payment from a family member but i mistakenly requested the payment to be for. product or service. Is there a way customer service can revert the error?

You can ask them and they 'may' refund the fee as a goods/services gesture and/or release the hold but personally I doubt it, worth a shot though.
Contact options for each countries Paypal customer services are accessed by clicking help/contact bottom left of Paypal pages.
1. Paypal phones when available (you can use the guest option if you can't log in).
2. Live chat is also randomly available.
3. You can send them a message, during business hours you may also be able to message whilst logged out.
Or
4. Have you considered contacting Customer Service via Facebook or Twitter?
You can send them a personal message from their Facebook or Twitter pages.

I contacted customer service and they were really understanding. They acknowledged that I sent it by mistake as a business payment and changed its status and I was able to withdraw it today!
