Money deducted in my bank even though the transaction failed

Pls help me…I made a transaction via PayPal through my debit card but the first transaction I made was failed but yet my money still deducted from my bank and not shown in PayPal history 😔

Thank you for your post and welcome to the PayPal Community Forum! 

It sounds like the money is being held by your bank as an 'authorisation'. This generally drops off after 2-3 business days. 

I would recommend reaching out to your bank for some clarification on this.
