Hello, can I get some help about transaction status/money refund?
I tried to pay for a goods using a PayPal service, money was debited from my card, seller double checked and claims that he didn’t receive the payment and PayPal showed me this message:
[removed]
That message was available for a few days and then, it disappeared and I can't find it anywhere in PayPal. Looks like the money are holding somewhere in PayPal or other place, they left my card for sure and didn’t arrived to seller and at the moment, they didn’t come back to my card.
Can someone please check and clarify the situation for me? Will I receive money back? What do I need to do for it? How long it may take?
I can't open a dispute because there was no successful transaction, but If it is needed, I have some proof of situation, some screenshots of a site, chat with the seller and emailing, regarding attempt to buy.

Thank you for your post and welcome to the PayPal Community Forum.
I understand this may be concerning. It sounds like this payment is on an authorisation hold as there may have been an error when the payment was being processed.
As you cannot see the transaction on the Activity section of your PayPal account, this indicates that the authorisation hold is on your bank/card. This authorisation hold should drop off in the next 2/3 business days. If not, I would recommend reaching out to your card or bank provider for help with this.

Can't see your screenshot, also would help if you said which country is involved / if you have confirmed your credit card / if you have paid using a paypal account before / also what does it say ON the transaction in your paypal account?

The message was:
Pending $289,00 USD payment
On 12 September 2022, you authorized a payment of $289,00 USD on your card [removed]. If the payment is voided for any reason, the pending amount won’t be charged. It may take a few days for this to show on your card statement.
Country is Ukraine. The card is confirmed and I did some successful transaction in past via PayPal. Currently I see no transaction in my PayPal account.

I was pretty sure that the problem wasn't on my bank side, but suddenly and quietly money returned.
Issue is closed.

- My account is a seller account when I don't want it like that in Managing Account Archives
- Paypal Sends email many days after I have send money. Makes me crazy in Managing Account Archives
- Date Format On Transactions etc wrong in Managing Account Archives
- Can’t delete account pending transaction in Managing Account Archives
- Close account/change country - doesn't work because of open transaction in Managing Account Archives
