Money waiting to be accepted but i want to reject that payment.

I have money waiting for me to accept it. I don't want to accept it. Instead I want it to get back to the user who has sent it. The money is waiting to be accepted since few months. I didn't accept it hoping it would revert back to the person's account who ever has sent it but that has not been the case. How can i reject it so that the money is reverted back to the person who sent it?

Hello @subasGautam

Welcome! Thanks for visiting PayPal's Community Forum. I'm sorry to hear there's been some concerns regarding a recent pending transaction. Normally, if a payment is unclaimed, it would revert back to the sender after 30 days.

Since it sounds like the transaction you're referring to is still pending, it may be a money request or invoice. If it is a money request or invoice, you should see the option to cancel it after clicking on the 3 dots to the left of the transaction in your PayPal Activity. If you don't see any options or it isn't a money request or invoice, please reach out to our Customer Support teams for assistance.

Best wishes and good luck!
