Pending transaction disappeared. What is the solution?

Hello!
Have you met a case like this before? I ordered a pc game key what I have been charged for. The amount was deducted from my account, but the provider's system indicated the transaction was unsuccesful. In paypal activities my transaction was pending and after 10 days it disappeared. On the provider's side the transaction is still unsuccesful and I didn't get back the amount from paypal. Do you have any experience with similar cases?
Cheers, kuthn

Once the pending status has gone allow another few days for the funds to return to your funding source?

If no sign of them contact customer services for a trace.

I have the exact same problem myself. My money (and the transaction) have disappeared. I'd really like my money back. I'm not a rich man and it makes a difference.

Hello @slb2023

Welcome and thank your writing in the PayPal Community Help Forum!

I understand your concern about your funds not reversed back after failed transaction. When you attempt to make a transaction, the amount will be on hold temporarily in your PayPal and bank accounts. This is an authorization charge which be in pending status until merchant captures the payment.

If the payment wasn't successful, any pending authorizations will be dropped and the held money will be released in few days in your bank account. If you don't see any reversal after few days, please check with your bank and review your statement. More information about authorizations can be found here. For any additional assistance, feel free to reach PayPal support team and the contact options can be seen here.

Best wishes,

Bindu
