Refund in full but case and refund still pending!

Refund is pending going on five days! This is unacceptable. PayPal should have a better way of crediting account even if seller uses a check. This is a huge problem! I could not pay for this transaction directly through eBay it just would not let me so the seller had to send me a PayPal invoice with the eBay transaction number on it. When the refrigerator showed up damaged because of shipping the ebay said I had to take it up with seller and PayPal and I needed to dispute with PP. Seller refunded the next day but it just shows pending and I need to buy another refrigerator and I’m waiting for this money! This is ridiculous.

Bet your glad you used Paypal so that you could open a dispute and force the seller to issue a refund?

As Paypal have got you the refund then any wait is dependent on whether ......

1. The seller has issued a refund from their bank account which takes time to process.

2. You funded the payment to the seller using bank transfer. What PayPal do here is credit the recipient on your behalf (so there is no delay in despatching your item). Then if you receive a refund in the meantime they are unable to issue this until the original bank transfer completes.

Actually no, he refunded me without even caring about the open dispute. I had called him out on canceling the transaction on eBay and then he told me that he thought maybe I’d want a different refrigerator that he had to offer when I asked him what his angle was. He was very offended refunded me right away. tje refund has just been stuck in pending status is ridiculous! When I called PayPal support the first time she told me it was because I had an open case and that they’ll see if I get the refund or not and I’m like what? I never got the refrigerator! It stayed on the truck and it went back to him!
