Turn off One-Touch payment

I don't want Paypal to automatically pay when I check out one eBay or anywhere else.  I want to sign in with my password to approve the transaction.  I have turned off One-Touch payment using the link below, but it only works for a short time and then it defaults back to automatic payment.  How do I make this a permanent setting?  Many of the answers to previous posts refer to menu options that I don't recognise.  Any help would be appreciated. Thank you.

Thank you for your reply.  Unfortunately when I do as you suggest I do not see the menu option you mention.  The options I see are:
Password

2-step Verification

Manage Your log-ins

Security Questions

Skip extra Approvals for faster payments.

There is no option for Log in with PayPal.
