What does sending money show up as on bank statements?

If I transfer money to a friend directly from my card using Paypal, will it show who I sent it to on my bank statement or will it just say something like "Paypal Transaction"?

I understand you're interested in learning about how a payment will appear on your bank statement. When initiating a money transfer, it will only show that it's a PayPal transaction. It may appear differently when you make a purchase through a merchant. Merchants have the option to customize how their name appears on PayPal and your bank statement.
