Why it keeps saying temporary hold and I cant get refund back on my bank account?

I attempted to buy a subscription from UWorld by paypal through my debit card but the UWorld didn't accept the process and say that this is due to a bank issue.....Now the money actually is withdrawn from my bank account and the process appears temporary held and I can't cancel it or get the money back in my bank account....the problem is the money is about 449 USD 😞

Like PayPal says, it is temporary hold on the funds, not a completed charge. The hold will eventually expire and drop off by itself, as if the transaction didn’t happen. This can take a few days, up to 30 days. If temporary hold last longer than 30 days, ask PayPal and/or your bank to void the hold.
