how to turn off auto sweep of funds to my checking account

I want my money to stay as a Paypal balance instead of transferring directly to my linked bank account.  How do I disable the automatic sweep feature that takes my balance to 0.00 all the time?

As you haven't added your country to your profile (so we can see when we hover over your username) or said in your post which country you are in so unfortunately its hard for us to advise.
Paypal varies a great deal country to country so you need to tell us where you are on this worldwide community forum.

I clearly named the post with the link for the other poster, then posted advice for you underneath.

Once enabled, you will see an “Auto Sweep” option in the middle column of your Paypal Account Profile page. You can enable or disable auto-sweep, and select the checking account where to deposit the funds. Note that whenever you add funds to your Paypal account, auto-sweep is automatically disabled. This ensures that the funds you just added are not withdrawn immediately. Also note that it will still take 3-5 business days for each withdrawal to post to your checking account.
