Add and transfer money from my bank account to my paypal account.

I'd like to know if there is a way to add and transfer money from my bank account to my paypal account. Right now, there isn't any money in my paypal account, but there is money in my bank account. Using google, I'm told to look for a transfer option under wallet on the paypal website, but there isn't any transfer money option. I have money in my bank account. My bank is citibank.

However you never need funds in your Paypal balance.
Paypal will automatically take payment from any confirmed bank account or card (whichever is eligible in your country) during the payment process.

If you have the option to select a funding source then you can do so here...

Click on the profile tab (icon next to log out) > Click on payments third option along on the thick blue band top of page > second down click on update next to your preferred way to pay and put a dot in one of the options listed.

There is no transfer money option under the wallet tab.

I did some research and I found out that even though I have a paypal account, I never had a balance set up. Once I set up a balance, then the transfer option appeared. I going to transfer money tomorrow and see how long the wait time is.

Well it turns out that I didn't have a balance set up in my paypal account, which is strange, but then again, I have never kept money in my paypal account. The money has always gone right to my bank accout.

There should be info posted that if you don't have a balance set up in your paypal account, you won't have an option to transfer money.
