Since this afternoon my list of Automatic payments is missing from both the website and my iphone app. I called customer service and the representative said she could see my list and had no idea why I could not. She said she would "ask someone else". I then tried online chat. He suggested I clear cache, reopen app and try a different browser. I did all of that and still could not see the list. That representative also said that he could see my list and thought it was a "technical glitch". He then said to wait 24 hours and let them know if it came back. Has this happened to anyone else? I can't imagine it is going to magically come back and I have many automatic payments set up. I appreciate any help anyone can give me. Thak you.

same here both in app and web, wish I could create a JIRA ticket inside paypal for this. This problem also makes https://www.paypal.com/us/cshelp/article/what-is-an-automatic-payment-and-how-do-i-update-or-cancel-... a lie,
I hope PayPal fixes this, it is one of the major reasons I use them.

I am seeing this same thing. When I used to go to Settings/Payments/Automatic Payments I would see a list of my active and inactive Automatic Payments so I could remove the ones everybody seems to add now. Now that page just shows a list of merchants that accept PayPal and I cannot find my automatic payments, although that page actually says once I setup these merchants I can come to this same page to manage my automatic payments, on this page that no longer seems to have anything to do with my automatic payments. The only help topic I can find tells me to do exactly what I have always done, which NO LONGER WORKS. How can I get the list of all my automatic payments?
I also agree with a different thread that merchants should not be able to setup the ability to charge my account any time they choose, even if what I am buying is not a subscription. Good example, Facebook. If you make any kind of purchase on Facebook; tokens in a game, contribute to a charity, etc.; they automatically setup an automatic payment so they don't have deal with things like asking for a payment, they can just take it. Seems more and more merchants are using this, some with bad intentions.

I logged on this morning and couldn't see them either I tried online chat and the rep had no idea and kept repeating himself until he eventually just hung up on me. So I called.
The new rep had no idea either and we kept going around in a circle. She kept telling me to update the app, and even though I mentioned that it was the website too that was also not working, she dismissed that. I just got frustrated and gave up. Assuming since so many posted in such a short time it was a glitch.

Yes same here. I get the feeling its by design. Merchants might like that they can charge you whenever they like. They might not offer paypal as an option if they feel users have a lot of control and insight over who can charge them, like is the case for a lot of credit cards.

Looks like I might have to close my account if this situation is not fixed and fast. Trying to cancel a subscription online is like pulling teeth. The main utility of PayPal was the ability to cancel subscriptions without having to jump through major hoops. I learned a lesson and will not use PayPal in the future if this is not fixed quickly.
