Hi, I have an outstanding payment for a hotel booking to be charged in December. The Credit card I choose for paypal has been cancelled as stolen. I have added the new card number as a preferred card. However will paypal try to charge the original card - that is cancelled now? Or will they automatically try the preferred card? Appreciate any info, thanks

Hello @marsipan,
Welcome to the PayPal Community! This is a great question. Normally, when you book a hotel through PayPal, the credit / debit card is charged right away. However, if you've created a billing agreement to charge the transaction when you check-in, you should see the billing agreement in your Wallet, and should be able to set a new preferred payment method for that company.
If you run into any speed-bumps along the way, please don't hesitate to reach out to our Customer Support teams for assistance.
Best wishes!
