Duplicate credit card authorization eBay

Hi have bought on 23.10.2023 two items on eBay with sum 1176€. There was credit card authorization in value 1176€.

On 26.10.2023 there where two separate authorization on my credit card with values 26€ and 1148€. Both transactions are authorized on my bank, there is no pending transaction. I made dispute on PayPal, but there are saying this is normal. 

On PayPal I see only transaction that was made on 23.10.2023. I contacted merchant and he received only one amount on 24.10.2023.

Can you help me with this issue.

I understand you see two different authorizations on your bank account when there should only be one, and I'm sorry to hear that. If the second charge is also only an authorization, the authorization should fall off typically after ten days, but some banks can take up to 30. However, if it shows as a completed payment, I might suggest reaching out to eBay since it doesn't show on PayPal. They might be able to provide more information. If you received a separate email regarding that charge, please grab the receipt ID and reach back out to PayPal Customer Support, as it might have been processed as a guest checkout.

HI,

I haven't resolve this issue yet. I have also contacted both merchants and they confirmed that they received money only once. Both creditarc transactions are fully authorized on my credit card provider (there is no pre-authorization status). 

I have attached screnshot of one of my transaction, that I authorized on 23.11.2023 when also my credit card was authorized. 

Does PayPal have any kind of log, that is possible to see who initiated credit card authorization on 26.11.2023  without my interaction or any EBay transactions.

After call to PayPall Support they said, that I must contact my Credit card provider. But after few days the issue was solved.
