I recently made a freinds and family purchase using a credit card and was charged a fee which is now permanently charging interest on the card until we pay off the credit card completely. My husband had a fit since we have never had to pay interest on the credit card before. Is there a way around this? And if I transfer money to PayPal balance, will my credit card also be charged a fee? What if I use a debit card to pay?

Friends/family payments are free if funded from funds already in your paypal account balance OR from your bank account.
If you use a credit card you pay that credit cards fee.
