How do I cange my user name

PAYMENTS TO ME NOT ACCEPTED TO MY ACCT.

Paypal customer for 23 years and suddenly NO PAYMENTS WILL BE ACCEPTED TO MY ACCOUNT.

No help from Paypal.

I think if I could change my user name (that my customers use to pay me) it will again work for me.

How do I do that? I've followed instructions but the system wil NOT allow me to change my user name............although it looks like I can edit it, I cannot.

There isn't an automatic update option for a Paypal.me link but if you contact customer services they can change it for you.
