I have a problem with aliexpress:

Hello everyone; I have a problem with aliexpress: 
I haven't been able to pay for orders on aliexpress for two days;
I tried several times with different purchases, but every time the paypal window opens,
the transaction does not go ahead and a small circle appears with the word "default"

Welcome to the PayPal Community Forum. I can understand it must be a bit concerning when you're unable to make a purchase. Have you tried clearing your browser's cache, cookies, and history yet? If that didn't help, you may want to try the troubleshooting steps listed here as well: Why was my payment declined?

 

If issues persist after that, please reach out to our Customer Support teams for assistance.

When checking out with Pay 4 (split the payments) it Worked and paypay had a pending 1st payment but it all stalled there. The order reverted to the Shopping cart again. BUT there is still an un cancellable  amount in the pay pall acount. 
Add to this we have also had issues with using a Credit card at checkout also I would say they are having issues. However my partner just checked out with paypal with out Pay 4 sucsessfully but couldnt select an exsisting CC Card. So something strang happening.

Thanks for joining PayPal's Community Forum. I'm sorry to hear you've run into some issues with a recent purchasing using Pay in 4. I pulled the following information from this Help Center article I think you may find useful: 

 

"If you do not complete your Pay in 4 transaction, the pending authorization will be automatically voided by PayPal within 72 hours of the pre-authorization hold. Although PayPal has released the hold on your funds, this may take up to 1-5 business days to process through your financial institution."

Usual nonsense from the admins. If you're getting the "default" bug, make sure you've got your address entered. PayPal should process at that point. The only other thing you might see is a notice about some item in your cart.
