On 10/06/24 at 4:08am EST i woke up to find my cash app account to be closed due to violating terms of service and cash app won't give me a reason why my account was closed and they didn't send me an email or a text message to give me ample time to withdraw the remaining funds i had in my cash app account, i had 571.16$ remaining in my balance, being that my account was closed I was unable to use my cash app card to withdraw the funds that were remaining in my cash app account, so I transferred the 571.16$ from my cash app to an external account which would be my paypal account and cash app charged me a 10$ transfer fee so the total amount that was transferred to my PayPal account was 561.16$, so i immediately checked my paypal account to see if the funds were available in my paypal checking account because it was an instant transfer well it just said pending unclaimed transfer on my paypal account and I canceled it so the funds would go back to my cash app account; but my cash app account is closed so the funds that paypal reversed back to my cash app account won't be able to come through because the cash app account is closed. There is no money in my cash app account and there is no money in my paypal account and I have contacted PayPal and they have confirmed the transaction has been canceled and I have screenshots and transaction ID numbers providing proof that the funds were canceled and the funds were never received. The 561.16$ should of been returned back to my cash app but cash app is stating that the funds won't show up in my account because the account is closed. Both paypal and cash app won't help me and I have spoken to the branch manager. The 561.16$ is floating around somewhere and that was all the money I had to my name to use for gas to put in my car and food because I just got hit with Hurricane Milton and my town is devastated. I do not know what to do about this situation and I have all the screenshots and proof of everything including the conversations with Cash app and Paypal. I even did alot of research and have read that cash app is able to temporarily reopen my account so that I can recover my funds but cash app is refusing to do so. The 561.16$ was pending credit unclaimed in my paypal account, so I messaged the virtual paypal assistant and canceled the transaction and I have a confirmation number for the canceled transaction; paypal assistant has confirmed with me that the funds were canceled and reversed back to the original funding source but then the paypal assistant also states that the the transaction has been reverted back to paypal inc on balance and when I googled that it apparently means the funds went to my paypal balance but there is no available funds in my paypal account or my cash app account.
