My successful payment for airline tickets is not on dashboard.

Hello.

Today is April 17 or 6 days after I purchased airline tickets last April 11. i sensed there was a problem when after payment, only the top toolbar reflected successful payment but not on the paypal screen. Unlike previous purchases where confirmation was immediate, I have not received any email confirmation from paypal or from the airline of a successful payment. I am worried since the paypal assistant replied 

that  

I can confirm that we've completed your payment of $3,115.90 USD to United Airlines  on April 11, 2023. This means that the seller received the money in their PayPal account. "

Now the paypal assistant is no longer responding coherently to follow up messages. 

What should i do? Should i notify my credit card company to block this transaction. Should i purchase tickets again? I am not in the US so calling the hotline is not an option for me as the overseas call charges may be too high.

Have you checked with the airline to see if they received your payment and have issued the tickets?
