PayPal's conversion rate ripped me off, without even asking if I wanna get ripped off...

I paid for a "Booking com"  stay with paypal. They ripped me for a big amount using their conversion rates, because I set to charge me on "2 days later" (as an automatic payment). Since paypal probably will not be kind enough to refund me the amount they stole from me, will canceling the booking then rebooking with paying with card directly, avoiding pay"pal" introduce any more "losses" than I already LOST now? Thanks...

You can check the rate before you send any funds.

I dont need to check any rates. I trust my bank that it has realistic rates. I just want paypal to stop making up unrealistic conversion rates, and specifically want to resolve my last (and forever last) payment I made with paypal. I want them to redo the payment with my banks conversion rate, that is, charging the bank in EUR as the charge is so I deal the conversion to BAM with my bank. My native currency BAM has a fixed rate with EUR at

1 BAM = 0.511292 EUR..... PAYPAL here is making up unrealistic 1 BAM at 0.49 EUR. HILARIOUS
