So my account got into a bit of a negative balance just before I got paid. On payday I transferred the funds to my account and cleared the balance. Now the transactions that caused this negative balance have also been taken from my bank account so essentially I’ve paid twice. I’ve tried using the Paypal Assistant which didn’t help at all and taking it to the resolution centre only gives me options for unauthorised transactions. Will the money I transferred to my account just be refunded to my balance? Is there any way I can solve this without having to call Paypal? 😞

If you have failed bank transfer then Paypal automatically keep trying to access those funds to clear your negative balance.
They have already fronted the payment to the seller on your behalf and so want the money owed.
If you sent a bank transfer to your Paypal account and Paypal also automatically applied for the funds as well then you would have 2 payments processing to your Paypal balance.
The first one to arrive will clear the negative balance and the second one will be credited as a + to your balance and you can withdraw it back to your bank account once cleared.
Advice is voluntary.
Kudos / Solution appreciated.
