Pending authorisation paypal in 4

Hi there, I purchased something 3 days ago using PayPal in 4 and can see the notification "This is a temporary authorisation to make sure your payment method can cover the payment. Your payment method will be charged when Pay in 4 completes your order." I've read a few posts in this community with the same scenario and it says it is sitting with the merchant to process the order, however I've contacted the merchant and she is saying she has record of my sale on her end? What do I do?

I understand your concern about the pending authorization towards a payment in your account. When you attempt to make a payment, the amount can be temporarily charged to your bank/card. This is an temporary authorization charge. The authorization charge will remain pending until the merchant accepts/processed your order. As the merchant confirmed about no record of the order, any payment debited will be reversed to your funding source in few days.
