Sending a special gift to a very close friend anonymously in 2024?

I've tried looking for an answer all over the Internet for a long time but i couldn't find a clear answer. I've literally scanned the Internet for an answer and I'm yet to find a clear solution so I decided to ask here 😓 😓

I have a very close friend who means a lot to me and I want to send them an anonymous payment so that they don't feel "obliged" to repay me in the future.

Can I send an anonymous payment to a very close friend via my PayPal account without them knowing my email address or my name?

An Amazon gift card would probably be my first option because Amazon sells so many products!

However, I'm still not sure how I can send an anonymous payment to a very close friend? I want to send them a payment without knowing who sent it so that they don't feel worried about paying me back in the future.

What about this idea: Is it possible for me to enter a fake name and email address for when my very close friend receives the payment from me? This way my very close friend won't know it was me.
