The last 4 withdrawals from my PayPal account did not go to my bank account.

Hi, I'm new on the forum, although I've been using PayPal for 13 years. I've never had a problem with PayPal, but my last 4 withdrawals from my PayPal account didn't go to my bank account. Although I received confirmation from PayPal that the payment went through. The oldest withdraw was on October 11, i.e. 14 days ago. I called to the bank and they assured me that the problem must be on the side of PayPal or the payment gateway. I tried to solve it on PayPal through the "resolution center", but there they wrote to me without any explanation that it was not an unauthorized transaction and that the case is closed... I have no idea what to do. The money disappeared from my PayPal account but didn't reach my to bank account...

A dispute for an unauthorised transaction is telling paypal that your account was hacked and used without your consent to make a transaction.
Paypal would check IP addresses and devices and close the dispute as there was no 'transaction'.
You need to contact customer services and ask them to ''trace'' the funds.

Contact options for each countries Paypal customer services are accessed by clicking help/contact bottom left of Paypal pages.

1. Paypal phones (you can use the guest option if you can't log in).
2. Live chat is also randomly available.
3. You can send them a message, (during business hours you may also be able to message whilst logged out).
4. Have you considered contacting Customer Service via Facebook or Twitter?
You can send them a private direct message via Social Media on Facebook, Twitter/X, or Instagram pages.

Advice is voluntary.
Kudos / Solution appreciated.

Hi Jan, I have exactly the same issue and I am in Czech republic too! I was just wondering what to do.

My money are missing for a week already and I´m worried about last transactions not going through.

I would like to get your updates how they respond to you, I´m really stressed myself.

Seriously it´s copy paste experience to me - never had a single issue for 10 years. I did too actually through message center and there was a reply to wait until the weekend.  I´ve looked up at my history of transactions and my latest withdrawal was on 4th of oct and it went through without any problems in a day. Thanks! fingers crossed for you too...

The same with me. Also from Czech, last 3 withdrawals havent received. Now, on the discussion with paypal representative, and waiting for Tracking number (reference code for tracking SEPA) Paypal HAVE to provide this nr. that my bank can trace money. It seems that paypal has SERIOUS problem with withdrawal to some countries. Last week, first representative told me, that paypal had some technical problems with withdrawals on 19th OCT.... So its really NOT hacked account, its paypal problem. (btw, also havent problems with withdrawals for 10 years ...)

Also, pls, keep update this thread with results.. that we can continue with dispute together... Regards

Hi, thanks for the message. It looks like you're one step further in the solution. I communicated with the customer support department last Thursday and they wanted from me a bank statement so they can move the case to a department that can track the money. I understand that the tracking is done by PayPal and not by my bank, but I don't know... They said they'd get back to me in a few days, so I'll let you know here.

I have the same type of progress as Jan here, they only asked me to provide bank statement from certain date. It’s shocking to me this takes so long as I found another person online with funds on hold since start of the month - I mean how do you not fix the problem for whole country in 3+ weeks?! In my case the last withdrawal that went through was 5th of Oct. Glad to know they are trying to help somewhere at least, did you have to provide anything to get this far or did you call them for speedy communication? p.s. I mentioned the problem to customer service agent about acknowledging how many people seem to have this issue in CZ to have a look and they said something like “ we haven’t heard about any problem in CZ” 😵💫😤
