We are a small nonprofit organization which accepts donations via Paypal. In preparing to transfer our current total donations (minus Paypal's percentage) to our bank account, we discovered that the Paypal balance ($1319.43) is less than the sum of individual net donations by $175.64. We've checked our math. Is this a hidden Paypal charge? How can we collect the missing $175.64?

Hello @TFW-manager,
Thanks for stopping by the PayPal Community; welcome!
I'm sorry to hear that your balance is less than what you were expecting when you went to make a transfer. If any outgoing payments were made through the account, the balance may have been applied to them. I recommend downloading an activity statement to review an in-depth breakdown of your recent transactions including any fees. Depending on how you select to transfer the balance, it could also include a withdrawal fee in your transfer. You can learn more about PayPal fees on the Help Center here and on the Fees Page.
I hope this helps you discover what happened!
