Hey PayPal Community,
I'm trying to send some money to a friend in Venezuela using PayPal, and I'm a bit confused about the fees. Both of us have PayPal accounts in Venezuela, and we'll be using the same currency. When I go to send money, I only see the "Goods and Services" option, not "Friends and Family." I'm worried about fees and who might get charged.
Could someone help me understand:
- Why don't I see the "Friends and Family" option? Is it not available in Venezuela?
- If I use "Goods and Services," will there be a fee? If so, who pays it—me or my friend?
- Does it make a difference if I use my PayPal balance instead of a card?
- Are there any specific rules for sending money to friends in Venezuela that I should know about?
I just want to make sure neither of us gets hit with unexpected fees. Any help or advice would be really appreciated!
Thanks a lot!

The friends/family option is not available in every country, if you can't see it to select then unfortunately you don't have it.
Yes if you use g/s then the recipient pays the fee.
No.
No as you are using the g/s option anyway.

Kudos / Solution appreciated.
