It is not possible to add funds from a gift card to your PayPal account, but you can add the gift card and use it as a payment method for a card-funded transaction. If it's for a Goods and Services purchase, there would be no fee, but if it's for a Friends and Family payment there would be one.

So a (MasterCard /Visa) prepaid gift card can be linked.. but it must be for its full value? Can it be a secondary payment method to top up balance? Call this advice? .. what is true? Can I use a prepaid gift card (visa/MasterCard etc) and have said cards value approved in my PayPal balance. It's not rocket surgery! Why the deliberate obfuscation? Do you get paid to ruin the hopes and dreams of average American families? I hope you have a proper sense of self hatred!
