home screen says "money is waiting for you". my Q: how do I learn the details of who sending it/why?

When I log into paypal the home screen has a big blue box stating...
             Money is waiting for you
             119.90 USD
             [accept the money]
If I click anywhere in the box I am presented with a screen to send-it-to-my-bank/keep-it-in-paypal/send-as-a-check

what I am NOT seeing is who is sending me money and why.
a review of transactions is not showing a 119.90 purchase
so I am confused about this money.  so I "cancel" when within the  accept panel and the blue box re-appears in my home screen.
I feel wary about transactions that don't make sense to me  how can I discern where this money is coming from.

how do I learn  where/who/why  this money is coming from?

Hello @OracleDba1,

Welcome to the community and thanks for PayPal.

We understand that you want to see the details of the sender who send you the money in your PayPal account. You should be able to see details of who sent you money in the Activity section on your account. If the transaction is not showing at all I recommend clearing cache and cookies before checking again. In the Activity section you can expand the details of the payment to show more information. If a business account is sending you money though, it may just show the business name rather than a personal name.

I hope this helps.

Warm Regards,

Shradha
