refund friends and family

About a week ago, I have sent money to a person via "Friends and Family" and immediately cancelled it afterwards. Now the issue is, even though it says in my PayPal transaction history that it was cancelled and the amount was refunded it is nowhere to be seen, not in my bank account nor my PayPal-Wallet. Also, I cannot open a case because I used "Friends and Family".

I am thankful for every answer. 😕

When you cancel a payment those funds can't do a u-turn > they have to process through to paypal who will as the transaction was cancelled return them to your funding source (if you paid from your bank account or with a card), or credit your paypal balance (if it was funded from that balance), but that takes a few days and sometimes up to a week.
